Laser Etch Operator - (Greenwood, IN)

Position details Summary: Programs, sets up and operates Laser Engraving machine to engrave/etch metal parts in accordance with blueprint specifications and work instructions. The Laser Engraver is to produce the most efficient and accurate programs for the Laser Engraving Machine(s) and coordinate the proper and efficient use of all Marking Department resources (Pin Etch included) in an effort to provide the highest quality product possible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following; other duties may be assigned: Creates accurate and efficient Laser Engraving Programs; Maintains and manages all the Electronic Files used for programming Laser Engraving equipment. Maintains and manages all the electronic files used in the operation of the department (i.e Production Schedules, Set-up Sheets, Log Sheets, etc.) Works directly with the Engineering Department by obtaining the most accurate info available to clarify ambiguities.
