Job details Hours/Week: 40 hours Location: US:NY: Cicero Summary: A Credit Underwriter is responsible for spreading financial statements in compliance with Bank standards. It is the responsibility of a credit underwriter to prepare Credit Offering Memorandums on non-to-mid-complex borrowers in concert with Commercial Lenders for consideration of commercial loan approval. Other assignments include compiling of borrower's total banking relationship, managing personal workload to ensure completion of work within prescribed timeline, and performing other administrative duties to support the Credit Administration function. Education: Bachelors Degree in a related Business field with a min of six hours of accounting required. Responsibilities: -Prepare financial spreadsheets on existing or potential borrowers using accountant-prepared for company-prepared financial statements and tax returns -Gather all additional credit details, environmental reports, etc.
