Security Officers - (Missoula, MT)

Missoula Correctional Services is accepting applications for full-time Security Officers on various shifts working with offenders in the Pre-Release Center. The starting rate of pay is $14.00 per hour and benefits include a 100% paid employee medical plan, ten days of annual vacation, sick leave, ten days of holiday leave per year, and retirement, flex benefits, & increased rate of pay to $15.07 after successful completion of a probationary period. Background in Corrections is desirable. The qualified candidate has a high-school diploma, and 1 year of post high-school education AND 1 year of correctional officer or related law enforcement background. A combination of education and background may be considered. An candidate that does not meet the background or education required may be considered for a training position with lower hourly rate.
