Service Writer - (Allentown, PA)

Position overview Hale Tank Services, Inc has an immediate opening at its Allentown, PA branch location. We are looking for an experienced Service Writer to join our team of trailer professionals. Responsibilities: · Estimate cost of repairs and prepares itemized service order, listing costs of parts and labor. · Initiate and control the service order process, secure customer’s signature, and close when completed. · Serve as a liaison between mechanics and customers. · Comply with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations. · Answer office phone calls. Qualifications: · Background as a heavy duty truck and trailer mechanic, a plus. · Previous background with Tank other types of trailers a plus. · Must have strong management skills to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments within expected time frames.
