Aerospace Engineer Job details:Leidos currently has an opportunity for an Aerospace Engineer in our King of Prussia, PA office. The candidate must have background in hypersonic aerodynamics, aeroheating, and trajectory modeling applied to high speed/reentry vehicles. It is highly desired that applicants also possess background with multiple aspects of hypersonic/reentry physics. Examples of such phenomena include ablation, particle erosion, thermal protection systems, nosetip shape change, boundary layer transition, reentry plasma, hypersonic wake modeling and prediction of flowfield IR and RCS signatures.The candidate must be able to apply computational fluid mechanics modeling for high speed (hypersonic) weapon systems.
