Graphic Designer The Graphic Designer designs and prepares original artwork for a variety of communication purposes. This position develops and designs a variety of design projects and illustrative materials in conjunction with the Marketing Director and college departmental clients. This position works independently and interfaces with a variety of staff, faculty and administrators to develop and design communication materials and projects. Requires min of 2 years of college-level training in graphic arts, illustration, or closely related position AND 1 year of background as a Graphic Assistant or designer in marketing, promotion or advertising fields, and demonstrated expertise to design and layout and resize print and on-line advertising; OR, A combination of background and training that provides the candidate with the knowledge and skills to perform the job will be considered. Minimally, 1 yr of related skills is required, regardless of education.
