QC Inspector - (Tyler, TX)

Position details A QC Inspector at VME is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance/quality control per VME’s quality management system. Inspect and insure that welds performed on the pipe or equipment are implemented as required in the contract specifications. Key functions: Perform internal and external inspections to determine if a weldment or equipment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document Manage and maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards Compile and submit daily reports and inspections reports in a timely matter Maintain an organized filing system Recommend and approve repairs as well as perform visual inspections of completed work Responsible to qualify welders with VME weld procedures Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards co-workers Actively promote and personally observe all company policies, employee handbook
