The Southwest Region is currently hiring Solar Journeyman Electrician. The Solar Journeyman Electrician is essential and assists the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of construction projects. Required responsibilities * Layout, bend, thread, and install conduit * Layout and install cable tray * Install and terminate wire and cable * Layout and install switch-gear, switchboards, and electrical devices * Layout and rough-in ceilings and walls * Understand motors and controls * Troubleshoot electrical devices with drawings and schematics * Proficient knowledge of voltage, amperage, insulation resistance, continuity, and ohm meter electrical testers * Fully comprehends electrical theory and National Electrical Code * Have full complement of personal hand tools at all times * Comprehends and adheres to company policy safe work practices McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity
