Position Info Position title Assistant, Lab/Purchasing & Inventory Technician- Health Sciences (Part time, 25 Hours) Job summary RPM Under the supervision of the Health Science Division leadership, the lab assistant is responsible for the inventory, purchasing, and records maintenance of all Health Science Division equipment and supplies. This individual will utilize technology to prepare purchase orders and maintain inventory and records in compliance with state statutes. The lab assistant may also assist Health Science faculty in prepping labs for instruction and assisting with the breakdown of labs after instruction. Duties/Functions Research approved vendors for supply and equipment purchases for health science programs Prepare purchase requisitions for supplies and equipment as appropriate via paper or electronically Coordinate receipt of supplies and equipment ensuring appropriate delivery and or storage Maintain product data as well as packing receipts, shipping documents
