Job overview Summary: Responsible for supporting all operations of the shipping and receiving department as well as driving company truck to pick up or drop off material by performing the following duties. Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Load and unload delivery vehicles to include operating fork trucks, lifting and carrying material and stocking in appropriate areas throughout the warehouse. 2. Operate fork truck to unload pallets and heavier materials. 3. Verify quantities of deliveries and material serial numbers by comparing material to packing slips. 4. Visually inspect deliveries for damage and notify supervisor of discrepancies. 5. Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times. 6. Complete appropriate paperwork and computer entries for deliveries as required. 7. Complete order requests to include obtaining appropriate material from storage in accordance with picking ticket. 8.
