Warehouse Associate - (Norwalk, CT)

Position summary Job Summary: This position helps keep the warehouse in order. This involves helping to load, unload and check in incoming and outgoing material. Additionally keeping shelves stocked with material and making sure items are put away properly. Maintaining an organized warehouse is key for the company to run smoothly. Employee will be responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and that cleanliness is maintained. We deliver creative solutions for comfortable living. Functions and Responsibilities: Employee may have to pick and stage orders, stock shelves, load/unload trucks, clean up, etc. Operate power/material handling machinery including forklift(electric and propane), and pallet jacks in a safe and proper manner-employee needs to be certified when necessary Move materials and items from receiving to storage areas, shipping or to other designated areas Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined locations such as size, type, style
