Director, Systems Engineering - (Torrance, CA)

A fast-growing Southern California high tech company specializing in advanced defense and homeland security solutions is seeking a , Systems Engineering. The , Systems Engineering reports directly to the General Manager of the Cognitive Systems Division and is responsible for technical management of a directorate specializing primarily in RF systems. This position involves management and oversight of programs and personnel to meet quality and timeliness of external and internal deliverables, and maintain growth expectations for the directorate. Responsibilities: Track revenue generation within the directorate in order to meet projected financial target for the directorate. Provide technical and management guidance to personnel within the directorate to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables, reports, and proposals. Conduct milestone-based tracking of technical performance progress on programs within the directorate to ensure the advancement of the technology meets or exceeds customer expectations.
