Teacher - Child Care - (Rutland, VT)

The perfect candidate must have the expertise to assist in individualizing and providing a developmentally appropriate pre-school curriculum for children ages 3-5. Working towards obtaining a Child Development Associates (CDA) within the 1st year of employment. Previous background working with children in a group setting preferred. Provide a safe nurturing environment for children 3-5yrs old in a child care classroom. Ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, federal and state regulations and national accreditation standards; promotes team approach to delivery of early education and care programming. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: CDA preferred. High-school diploma or Equivalent required 1. Previous background working with young children in a group setting. 2. Dependable, flexible and able to work with others in positive responsible manner. 3. Valid Driver's License, good driving history, and reliable transportation.
