A Procurement Buyer/Expeditor is responsible for the procurement and facilitation of timely deliveries for goods and/or services required by the organization and their customers.. Responsibilities: Order Acceptance and Placement Access and evaluate customer purchase order expectations prior to acceptance to ensure expectations can be meet. Enter customer purchase order qualifications into VTC ERP/MRP system to include customer flowdown qualifications. Facilitate purchase order acceptance, procurement and delivery activities with sourced sub-tier suppliers. Customer and Sub-Tier Supplier Communications and Relationships Manage and facilitate correspondence with both organizational customers and sub-tier suppliers regarding order confirmations, order modification, cancellations, order status, shipment and delivery updates. Organizational Communications and Relationships Communicate and support the organization by collecting and provided accurate data, measurements and reports.
