Quality Engineer - (Ridgeway, SC)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Effectively provide engineering support to lead company efforts in implementing new or improved systems to prevent re-occurring customer complaints and breakdowns in the quality system. Must be able to fulfill job qualifications as listed below: KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for coordinating customer specification reviews Lead efforts to dramatically reduce customer complaints through maintaining the CPAR database. Handle day to day internal and external quality issues. Set up systems to improve plant metrics. Establish systems to create a continuous improvement infrastructure throughout the company. Lead company efforts in implementing new or improved systems to prevent re-occurring customer complaints and breakdowns in the quality system, including updating customer profiles. Review, approve, and monitor all plants performance against customer quality standards. Provide quality engineering support to the plant.
