Lifestyle Coach - Part Time - (Elk River, MN)

The Lifestyle Coach is responsible for leading classes for the Chronic Disease Prevention Program and Management Programs. The incumbent will instruct quality classes and encourage participants while providing excellent customer service in a safe, enjoyable and positive environment that promotes wellness in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Required functions * Facilitates classes using standard curriculum designed for the Program. * Works closely with program participants, coaching them to adopt lifestyle changes and complete the program and achieve personal weight loss and fitness goals. * Establishes relationships and provide support, guidance and encouragement to participants during and after classes. * Communicates class participation results and status through required reporting and participation in team meetings. * May represent the YMCA in the community, participating in public relations and promotional activities as needed.
