Warehouse Transportation Supervisor - Odessa - (Odessa, TX)

Overview: Position reports to Transportation Manager. Position reviews all Daily pre-trip reports as completed by Delivery personnel. Prepares all Daily Morning paperwork for Transportation Drivers on a timely basis and oversee dispatching of all delivery routes, including any issues discovered with pre-trip inspections and inventory levels on each truck in the AM. Responsible, along with the Transportation Manger for the entire demand performance delivery department which includes management of all Route Drivers, Support Drivers, Driver Helpers, and any contract labor assigned to the Transportation Department. Required functions: Work with Drivers on a predetermined plan, agreed upon with direct supervisor, a min of 1 full day per week in the field, training and assisting Delivery personnel Drivers and Driver helpers on Glazer's delivery policies.
