Job summary & Requirements Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS) StartDate: 01/14/2019Available Shifts: ten N Pay level: $31.00 - 36.00 START DATE: 1/14/2019 for thirteen weeks. SHIFT: ten hour night shift w/rotating weekends. NO CALL. NECESSARY SKILLS: 3+ years of background. Min Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical, Physical or Biological Science with 1 (1) year clinical internship; Registry: ASCP or AMT certified. Must have background in Blood Bank. Performs and reports waived, non-waived and highly complex, routine and STAT laboratory tests in chemistry, serology, urinalysis, immunohematology, hematology, and microbiology. Answers technical questions pertaining to the test performance and medical significance of the ranges associated with that test. Able to recognize problems, identify the cause (technical or instrumental) and make simple corrections by using present strategies.
