The Division of Juvenile Justice is recruiting to fill a Juvenile Probation Officer IV position located in the Anchorage Probation Office at the McLaughlin Youth Center. This position will manage and supervise the Anchorage Juvenile Probation office. This position directly supervises 4 (4) Juvenile Probation Officer IIIs and an administrative support position. Periodic travel may be required of this position. Some examples of duties include: Supervising and directing staff in several specialized or general probation programs. These include intake investigation, predisposition studies, juvenile probation supervision, restitution and community service, client placement and detention alternatives; assigning and reviewing work of subordinate staff; conducting periodic caseload audits; guiding staff in assessment
