Accounting Clerk Position overview Our client, a mid-sized financial services company headquartered in Birmingham, AL, is looking for an Accounting Clerk to add to their growing team. This position will report to the Corporate Controller. Duties include the following: Cash applications. Posting cash received to appropriate invoices.Preparation of monthly recurring invoices for review and distribution. This involves pulling billing reports out of Contract Tracking System and making any appropriate billing changes to the invoices. Maintain database for all contracts.Preparation of invoices. This also involves reviewing and billing in accordance with the terms of the contracts.Coding of invoices to appropriate account codes as well as set up deferred revenue contracts in the accounting system.Perform other tasks related to customer contract maintenance as necessary.
