Senior Manager, Tax Planning - Work in Richmond - (Lynchburg, VA)

YOUR ROLE Reporting to the VP, Tax Planning and Analysis, you will demonstrate technical mastery of US corporate and insurance tax matters. This highly influential and visible role will work collaboratively in a matrixed environment to provide tax guidance across multiple lines of business. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Support Genworth's tax planning and strategy projects Work unaided to identify and resolve complex tax issues, make recommendations for solutions, and document the basis for the conclusions Participate in evaluating and implementing strategies to address legislative and administrative guidance Coordinate with others in the tax department to ensure that technical positions are appropriately reflected in the financial statements and tax returns Drive department and organizational change to enhance efficiency Effectively team with business partners across the organization
