Field Service Engineer I - (Charlotte, NC)

Install and service Murata Machine Tools products. Assist sales personnel and train customer personnel. Cross-train on both Metal Forming and Metal Cutting products as assigned for best overall Customer Service. Provides phone support to customers by answering product and service questions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Install Murata Machine Tools products: a. Install and demonstrate new machines in customer plants, including electrical or mechanical check-outs, set up, tooling, operation and programming. b. Prepare and submit demonstration reports accurately and promptly. 2. Service Murata Machine Tools products: a. Perform basic electrical/electronic, or mechanical, or hydraulic problem diagnosis and repair in customer's plants during warranty period. b. Cross-train on mechanical, electrical & electronic maintenance. c. Advise and assist customers with most operations and programming problems during warranty period. d.
