Job overview Reports to the Planning Yard Design ManagerResponsible for the co-supervision of a large multi-discipline design teamInterfaces daily with internal and external customersEnsures design tasks are completed to established schedule, cost, and quality parametersInputs weekly work order status Reports design task cost, schedule, and quality progress at various weekly meetingsMonitors cost, schedule, and quality metrics to identify employee development opportunitiesPerforms root cause analysis and associated corrective action plans for identified design issuesDevelops employee performance evaluationsDevelops ROM and GAF design estimatesProcesses and verifies employee time accounting recordsAdministers the BMDA labor contract Required/Preferred Education/Training Required: BS in a technical field with five years job related skills or eight years equivalent work background.Proficient using Word, Microsoft excel, and PowerPoint.Proficient in navigating within a Microsoft Access database.
