Licensed Veterinary Technician - (New City, NY)

We are a 3-doctor small animal, farm animal, exotic and avian practice looking for a PT or FT Licensed Veterinary Technician. The perfect applicant will have one year background in a quick paced multi species practice. This applicant will be proficient in pet restraint, lab work, dental procedures, surgery, nursing care and triage/discharge of patients. They will aid the doctors in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of some of the routine work and ensure the daily flow of appointments and patient care is nothing less then exceptional. Qualifications: Licensed Veterinary Technician one year background Exceptional nursing skills Outstanding communication abilities Strong writing expertise Field questions and inquires about services, triage, and products Provide knowledgeable advice concerning the care and treatment of animals Know common drugs and protocols and be able to explain them to clients
