Job summary: Video Editor The Teaching Company has a need for a creative Freelance Video Editor who can enhance long-form educational content with engaging visuals. Working toward a deadline under the direction of a Senior Producer, you are part of a team that includes graphics, intellectual property, and sound design. Must be willing to work onsite in our Chantilly, VA office. Major Responsibilities: Enhance the studio-recorded content with supporting visuals --- video, graphics and still pictures --- demonstrating an eye for composition and technical consistency Stay focused and creatively engaged through the delivery of a long-form production (average course is twelve to 18 hours) Operate independently and in cooperation with the production team Work effectively without sacrificing creativity Requirements: Min of 5 yrs background as a Video Editor for a collaborative production facility Proficient with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects Expertise to ask questions, give opinions
