Position: Offsite Video Editor (Medical / OR Experience a Must) Location: Other Areas Starts: early January Duration: Weeks Status: Freelance Rate: Depends on Experience Our client is looking for a Video Editor who can manage extensive amounts of footage (2 cameras in a 7-hour surgery) is typical. This client is PC based and would prefer an editor who can use Adobe Premiere, with the expertise to work on both a PC and Mac hard drive. The Video Editor must use the footage from the camera with a superior vantage point, edit and render the surgery. You must also be able to create a 45-minute version that illustrates the most critical points of the surgery. Having a clinical experience is essential as you will need to understand the basics of the procedure and understand which parts of the footage are the most important, and have the most educational value.
