Purpose of Position------The purpose of this position is to provide skilled electrical and controls services on a small construction crew commissioned to perform pipeline repairs and new construction activities on field operations projects throughout the pipeline system in a safe and efficient manner and within company and regulatory agency procedures.--Primary Job qualifications and ResponsibilitiesWork on a small construction crew on projects anywhere on Northern's pipeline system in the performance of construction activities requiring the need for electrical and control services including the repair, calibration, installation, inspection and analysis of-- electric, electronic, computer, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.--Analyze performance of equipment through the use of test data and make recommendations for improvement of existing equipment
