Systems Analyst two Unix and Linux Systems Administrator Position classification: Full time Candidates are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately. Profile Type: Role Purpose Description: The Unix/Linux Systems Administrator supports and maintains Unix/Linux servers. This includes planning for and this includes the operating systems and hardware available from several vendors (IBM AIX, Solaris, Red Hat, Suse, CentOS etc). The Unix/Linux Systems Administrator responds to service outages and other problems, and being the Tier three escalation point for server problems beyond the knowledge of other technical support staff. They have the expertise to work in moderately complex operating environments. This person may also mentor junior technical teammates. Profile Type: Critical responsibilities/Outcomes System Management –Responsible for the day to day support of computer systems running the Unix/Linux operating system.
