Associate General Counsel - (Norfolk, VA)

Overview:OtherNOT ACCEPTING RESUMES FROM OUTSIDE RECRUITERS Approx twelve years of background, or more, relevant to clients to be represented, with significant in-house and some law firm background preferred. Must be licensed to practice law in at least 1 state. If licensed in a state other than Virginia, must have Virginia Corporate Counsel license.Responsibilities:Serve as primary lead for legal services in 1 or more operational areas. Assist or take leadership role, as assigned by General Counsel, in Legal Department processes and planning tasks. Assist General Counsel in development, implementation, interpretation and enforcement of organizational policies relating to legal services. Provide leadership of the legal department in the absence of the General Counsel.
