Director, Data Scientist- R, Python, Strategy - (Smithfield, RI)

We are looking for a talented and established Data Scientist who can inspire teams to use logic, statistics, computer science and visualization to solve critical business problems. You will be a key participant in building an innovative Data Science practice in Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM). Your knowledge and skills will involve rapidly finding insights, leveraging data and exploiting opportunities to transform our business. This position is based full-time in Smithfield, RI The Ability We're Looking For Master's degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related position. Strong background with machine learning and background in Big data Proven work history of solving real world problems using Data Science technologies Extensive background with advanced analytics using statistical modeling tools such as R and Python Ability in Financial Services or a related industry a plus.
