Job LocationUSA, Louisville, KY Job Posting TitleSupplier Quality Engineer The ChallengeOwn all aspects of quality engineering and project management for suppliers of Electronic components and PCB assemblies. This includes qualification of suppliers, continuous ownership and development throughout the lifecycle of the supplier, and cross-functional support for all related programs that impact Cost of Quality (COQ) to GE Appliances. What you will Do Perform on-site business surveys and technical audits on potential new suppliers. Utilize technical ability in electronics design and PCBA manufacturing equipment to work with suppliers in developing optimal product designs and manufacturing processes. Participate in cross-functional new product development teams reviewing Engineering releases (DFM), changes and supplier proposals for manufacturing and testing (DFX) while managing the implementation plan for every new part and process.
