Production Worker - (La Porte, IN)

Position details: In this position, you will be required to set up machinery, operate under a line leader, quality inspection, data entry, reporting, cleanup, etc. The expertise to work 12-hour shifts is also required including weekend as well as expertise to work in various departments as company sees fit. ? Starting pay is $15.63/hr for day shift and $16.63/hr for night shift, and increases upon hire, with raises every 3 mons for the 1st 18 mons. After 18 mnths, all increases are annual, based on the contract. This is a career-level opportunity with room to advance and grow with a large, international company. Essential Position qualifications Include: Responsible for setting PLC settings for mills or winders Preparing and starting up extruders and assist in threading the line during start up Refeed rolls as instructed Follow all relevant procedures and policies including safety Perform quality tests and communicate with line leaders of any issues Correctly enter QC and production data into computer system
