Forklift Driver - Union - (Union, SC)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supply assembly lines with proper Work-In-Progress products on time as well as remove finished good from lines in a timely manner.PRIMARY TASKS:1. Proper storage of empty racks and finished goods;2. Bring parts to the line in a timely manner;3. Ensure FIFO is followed;4. Locating part numbers and locations of storage;5. Basic inspection of forklift per inspection sheet:6. Strong communication to shift leaders about inventory.7. Safe operation of forklift at all times.8. Ensure Assembly area remains clutter free by storing materials in proper locations.MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AN OFF SHIFTQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHS Diploma or GED equivalent required.Current forklift certification for Gestamp SC or a min of one year forklift experiencePREFERRED SKILLSKnowledge of basic mechanical checks for the forklift; Knowledge of refueling LPG cylinders; Familiarity with part numbers and storage locations; Expertise to utilize time efficiently and pay close attention to production
