Echo Technologist (PRN) This PRN (Days) position is located at Skiff Medical Center in Newton, IA. POSTION SUMMARY: The Echo Technologist performs all echocardiograms, vascular (including IMEX, non invasive vascular) exams. These procedures will be performed on various ages of patients in accordance with the age-specific delivery of care policy. This person will be able to operate all Ultrasound, non-invasive vascular and process photos as needed. The technologist may be required to be available for emergency call and will also perform clerical and transporting duties as assigned by the department director. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Demonstrates knowledge of all clerical duties in the front office. Demonstrates knowledge of image maintenance and filing system. Demonstrates knowledge of use of equipment in office, such as computer, fax/copier. Demonstrates knowledge of the transportation of patients and patient care. Assists in coverage of department and telephone communications.
