A Leading Beverage Distributor with generous benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities is now hiring a Retail Wine Sales Representative. This position sells fine wine, beer and non-alcoholic products to supermarkets, drug stores, convenience stores and package stores. Preferred applicant should have strong written and spoken communication abilities. \n \n Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learns and executes the 7 basics of Empire: distributions, position, display, pricing, point-of-sale, cold box, and rotation in each account. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off-condition product. Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
