Entry Level Chemist - (Petaluma, CA)

The Analytical Chemist works in a GMP regulated laboratory performing analysis on topical formulations and products the company is developing. The Analytical Chemist will: Provide analytical support and laboratory assistance in the testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products Analyze samples using HPLC, pH, viscosity, appearance, package integrity, water content, loss on drying, and FTIR techniques. Document all procedures and findings according to GMP regulations, review data, revise and edit procedures as needed They will use analytical instrumentation such as HPLC and GC, and will use physical analysis to support stability studies and formulation development of topical drug products. Conducts stability studies on topical products the company is formulating. Maintains documentation and info for the conduct of stability studies.
