QC Validation Chemist - (Pittsburg, CA)

Position description: The Quality Control Validation Chemist is responsible for the development and validation of analytical method for analysis of drug products, drug related substances and active pharmaceutical/excipient residuals. This person will be developing analytical methods. The client wants applicants familiar with (ICH), have a pharmaceutical manufacturing background, background with small molecules. HPLC and GC methods, wet chemistry. The QC Validation Chemist will develop and validate the method then transfer it to QC then do the report. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent background. Min of 3yrs of related skills in quality control gained in a GMP or ISO 9001/13485 environment. Expertise to perform analytical testing, including various types of wet chemical and instrumental analysis (i.e., HPLC, UPLC, IR, GC, UV, Dissolution, etc.) and the interpretation of the data obtained. Proficient in Ms word, Microsoft excel.
