Community Youth Counselor II-Community Youth Services, FT-Days, MHS - (Hollywood, FL)

Performs/oversees daily operations of the Youth Outreach programs and services. 1. Develops and maintains daily activity schedules. 2. Provides case management and clinical services for clients and their families. 3. Evaluates and assesses the needs and strengths of clients and families. 4. Facilitates services related to the CYS program. Background Education: Grant-specific; min may be Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a Social and/or Human Services related position. Licensure, Certification and Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 mons. Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, good communication abilities, effective written correspondence skills, decisive judgment and the expertise to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be able to handle a heavy case load and multi task. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
