Inventory Specialist - (Huntersville, NC)

Seeking a high-level Inventory Specialist for a large utilities company in Huntersville, NC! Responsibilities: -Manage warehouse inventory investments for the nuclear business unit providing inventory ability to maintain inventory optimization levels. -Utilizes system tools to accurately project forecasted needs and required inventory levels. -Develops and maintains optimal reorder points, economic order quantities, safety stock through the utilization of commodity usage trends. -Determines most economical and efficient means of procuring materials and equipment for internal customers through transfer, direct purchase scheduling deliveries, contracts or substitution. -Analyzes inventory data to identify opportunities for stock code standardization, inventory sharing internally and with industry partners, etc. in order to optimize inventory-stocking levels.
