Job DetailsJob Location Wheeling Jesuit University - Wheeling, WVDescription Serves as the University point of contact for receiving and posting student and other customer payments. Responsible for accuracy of postings and timely balancing and deposit of funds. Key Accountability Cash Receipts Position duties Receives and posts all forms of payment, issuing receipts and change to customers including students, parents, and other departments that collect funds. Controls payments from point of receipt to deposit. Posts payments through appropriate system to proper account(s). Reconciles each payment session and initiates deposit of funds. Assists students or others with online payments and routine inquiries. Refers students to appropriate offices (such as Financial Aid or Registrar) for specific issues. Other duties as assigned. Performance Standards Able to perform routine duties with minimal supervision. Expertise to read and follow directions. Expertise to learn and operate multiple receipting systems.
