Personal trainers for Miami University are hired to assess, design, and supervise exercise programs for Recreational Center patrons. Trainers must have an appropriate understanding of the principles of human physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology in order to effectively design programs that are safe and compatible with the body's function, design, and patron's goals/concerns. Maintains a safe and friendly environment, keeping patron well-being and satisfaction the priority.
