Research Scientist, Physicist - (Melbourne, FL)

Active clearance required to be considered for this position. Position overview: This research scientist postion will be supporting 2 programs with ability in hydrodynmaics, magnetohydrodynamics, and transport modeling. The applicant is expected to have relevant background at the graduate, post-graduate, or private level and will support senior scientists on both programs. Programs of focus are directed from the Air Force Technical Applications Center's (AFTAC) Atmosphere and Space Directorate and the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). The applicant will be provided specific mission related tasking and be expected to independently develop the proper approach/solution to comnplex scientific problems related to source physics, propagation, and sensor models. Essential Job Functions: Advanced degree in EE or Physics (Ph.D. preferred) with emphasis in computational electromagnetics.
