APPRENTICE POWER PLANT OPERATOR The City of Fulton is accepting resumes/applications for a full time Apprentice position with the Power Plant.Initial training will be done days and evenings; final Full time shift assignment will be 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Wed.-Friday, and 4:00 p.m.-midnight on Saturday & Sunday.Duties include assisting with monitoring & maintaining plant operations, providing customer service to the public, assisting in the repair & fabrication of special projects and assisting other departments as needed, including meter reading.Must be 21+ years old, have High-school/GED, valid driver's license with expertise to obtain valid drivers license within six months, a general knowledge of machinery and expertise to routinely handle 75 pounds.Must not be afraid of heights or enclosed spaces.Salary: $11.00/hour, with a generous increase after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.Generous benefits provided.
