Now Hiring Colorado Department Of Transportation (Cdot) Highway Maintenance Workers in Maybell, Colorado. The Highway Maintenance Worker position performs highway maintenance and operates heavy equipment. Assignments include snow removal, roadside and road surface maintenance, traffic device/sign installation and maintenance, pavement marking installation and maintenance and bridge structure maintenance. Requires at least 2 (2) years of background in physical labor and heavy equipment operation, which includes: At least 6 (6) months in physical labor background AND at least 6 (6) months heavy equipment operation background. The remaining twelve (12) months can be any combination of physical labor background and/or heavy equipment operation background. A Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with no restriction on air brakes, that allows operation in Colorado is also required.
