Insurance Underwriting Coordinator - (Wichita, KS)

Syndeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Underwriting Coordinator at a local company in Wichita, KS. Together the Underwriting team reviews and evaluates health details of potential new and renewal clients to assist in evaluating risk of the group. This is a full time position. The hours are Monday through Thursday eight a.m. to five p.m. and Friday eight a.m. to four p.m. Key functions: Learn the underwriting process, to include but not limited to, the successful completion of the Milliman Training Program. Assist in the review of cases evaluating risk and eligibility. Accurately input statistical info into software systems. Identify non-standard or complex risks and escalate those to appropriate colleagues. Provide daily communication to colleagues so that underwriting is a timely, efficient, and accurate process. Meet internal deadlines for task completion.
