Quality Assurance - (Hauppauge, NY)

Currently seeking a quality inspector for a large food manufacturing organization located on the eastern part of Long Island. The Quality inspector role is responsible for inspecting processes and products manufactured or processed to ensure compliance with Food Safety Programs, GMP's and company specifications by performing the following duties: Mon-Fri ( must be flexible for weekends) 40 hours a week Temp to hire opportunity fast food industry background a plus as well as production! $16.00 an hour Responsibilities: -Follows all safety regulations established by the company, company policies and GMP'S. -Complies with all applicable standards such as FDA -Adheres to GMPs, product specifications, and other QA plans and required process control procedures to insure processes, work in progress, raw materials and finished goods meet the specified quality and standards. -Conducts tests and inspects production at all production and storage facilities as assigned by QA Director and / or Supervisor.
