Position summary: Lead Veterinary Technician Dedham Veterinary Associates (DVA) is a growing general practice hospital located in Dedham, Massachusetts. Our hospital strives to practice a high standard of care in a compassionate and engaging environment. We are seeking an experienced full time Lead Technician to join our team of 4 General Practice Veterinarians and skilled nursing staff. Responsibilities of the Lead Technician include but are not limited to: overseeing all anesthesia cases, oversight and direct training of DVA technicians, direct and supervise all staff to ensure that all medical and non medical procedures are followed correctly, and work as a team with other Department Heads to develop and execute hospital wide training program(s) as well as some clinical work. The Lead Technician should consistently contribute to a spirit of pride and excitement in that each employee is part of a team practicing excellent medicine with a high standard of patient, client, and veterinary care.
