Sales Support Specialist - (Apex, NC)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Description of major duties and responsibilities of the role. Daily communication with Sales, Marketing and Demand Planning personnel regarding order status/creation, general product questions, inventory availability, product pricing/returns/credits, account status/creation, returns, etc. Play a key role in effectively assisting Sales by completing tasks including, but not limited to: o Researching and analyzing Sales Rep daily open order reports providing detailed feedback on backorder dates, tracking details and order holds o Completion of backorder related substitutions involving close communication with Sales, Marketing, Pricing & Contracts, Accounts Receiveable, and distribution facilities o Completing external customer follow-up on quotes, inquiries, order status, deliveries and issues resolved on behalf of the respective Sales Rep Communicate with internal and external customers
