Advanced Quality Engineer - GM - (Hickory, NC)

What you'll do As an Advanced Quality Engineer for AW & eDrive you will interact with the Customer, the product development team, Program Management and the plant teams to launch new products/programs through GKN and customer required APQP activities. The AQE plans, tracks and executes all Quality related activities to achieve full Customer approvals for our new products or revisions. Job Purpose To ensure the error free product launches and change management based on robust designs and stable, capable processes throughout the supply chain. Voice of Customer and strive to become the expert in Customer systems and Customer specific requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare the quality plan and organize the relevant quality & problem prevention activities. Co-ordinate & lead the relevant quality and problem prevention activities Eg FMEA, lessons learnt, safe sample, safe launch, etc for the program and ensure critical product launch quality reviews (PLQR) are completed as planned.
