QA Analyst / Engineer - (Rancho Cordova, CA)

Our client is looking for a QA Analyst / Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Rancho Cordova, CA. Description: - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and writing expertise. - 6+ years' background with software quality assurance required with some background in large scaled complex projects - Proficient in Ms office (Ms word, Visio, Project, Microsoft excel, PowerPoint) - Provide regular updates to the Test/Project Manager - Demonstrated proficiency with SQL for creating/modifying queries is a must. - Thorough understanding of all phases of SDLC required and various testing types such as Systems, Integration, UAT etc. Additional Skills / Knowledge Preferred: - Identify and prepare test data for testing - Provide technical info for Change Requests meetings - Assist with UAT testing - Background in using Unix for file manipulation and basic shell scripting
